Saeid Sadeghnejad, an Assistant Professor of petroleum engineering in the Department of Petroleum Engineering, Faculty of Chemical Engineering at Tarbiat Modares University (TMU). He received his PhD in Petroleum Engineering from Department of Chemical and Petroleum engineering at Sharif University of Technology. Before starting his academic life at TMU, he worked as a reservoir engineer, software developer, and rock (RCAL/SCAL) & fluid laboratory advisor in the upstream of petroleum industry for several years. Different commercial software packages have been developed by him in areas like multiphase flow modeling, core data library management, etc.
Saeid’s research interest mainly focuses on characterizing carbonate reservoirs. The two main stream of his research are reservoir characterization using novel methods (pattern recognition, pore network modeling (PNM), digital rock physics (DRP), percolation approach, etc.) and advanced polymer flooding methods (pH Sensitive, PPG, smart polymers).
